The online workshop, targeting protected area managers specifically, was organised by EUROPARC in collaboration with the EU Large Carnivore Platform secretariat and the Regional Platforms project. During the workshop, the European Commission presented activities supporting coexistence and the EU and regional platform secretariats described the activities carried out by the platforms which are of relevance to protected area (PA) managers. A facilitated discussion helped gather experiences and better define the need for further support for PA managers in promoting coexistence in protected areas and parks.
