Third Align webinar on Natural Capital Management Accounting - Focus on the construction sector

As part of the project ‘Aligning Accounting Approaches for Nature’ (Align), a third online seminar will take place on Monday 22 November 2021 from 15-17h CET / 14-16h BST focusing on the construction sector.

The objective of the seminar is to facilitate best practice exchange amongst corporate practitioners and relevant stakeholders by:

  • Identifying state of the art natural capital management accounting practices that are suitable for integrating environmental impacts and dependencies across the value chain in routine business and economic decision-making processes across all principal sectors of the economy; and
  • Establishing a foundation of practice which supports the development and embedding of methods and metrics to measure biodiversity related business impacts and dependencies.

Note: This session is open to the Align Community of Interest and the wider public, as well as to the Community of Practice and the Technical Hub. If you would like to be more actively involved in the Align project, you can register your interest here

Align is a project led by WCMC Europe, the Capitals Coalition, Arcadis, ICF and UNEP-WCMC, and funded by the European Commission, DG Environment.
