The LIFEstockProtect project, launched at the end of 2020, aims to establish livestock protection competence centres and to train farmers on livestock protection focused on the German-speaking Alps. On 26 January, an online Alpine Livestock Protection conference was organised. Speakers presented information on the livestock protection measures they are using in different parts of the Alps. 500 participants joined online and the conference was simultaneously translated into English, German and Italian.
