Imaging equipment – which includes printers and scanners – are an essential piece of office equipment, and are purchased by nearly every kind of contracting authority, large or small. Environmental hotspots include energy consumption while in use, as well as the use of consumables such as ink cartridges, and it is a product category with a great deal of opportunity for realising cost and environmental savings.
