New Transition Pathway for Construction highlights the role of Level(s)

The European Commission published the Transition Pathway for Construction in March, setting out the conditions and the necessary actions to achieve a resilient, competitive, greener and more digital construction ecosystem. In addition, it proposes actions that support the transition towards safer buildings and affordable housing for all Europeans. The Pathway highlights the role of Level(s) in supporting the sector to address several recommended actions, such as benchmarking environmental performance to reduce whole life carbon emissions and aligning national building assessment schemes. The report also suggests the development of a Level(s) equivalent to focus on infrastructure.
