Under the overarching theme of the “EU Green Deal—Make it Real”, the EU Green Week hybrid conference took place from 30 May to 5 June 2022. Policymakers, leading environmentalists and stakeholders from Europe and beyond took the floor during this edition.

The EU Youth Dialogue between Virginijus Sinkevičius, Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries and over 20 young people opened the EU Green Week on 30 May, followed by several conferences that address "the complex position of environment policy in the current circumstances" with high-level speakers participated such as Ruslan Strilets, Ukrainian Minister for the Environment, as stated by EU Environment.
