While you can still vote for your favourite Natura 2000 Award application, the European Commission cordially invites you to attend the Natura 2000 Award Ceremony to be held on 18 May 2022 in the Berlaymont building in central Brussels. Find out below how to attend, either in person or by livestreaming. 

The six winners of the 2022 edition of the Award will be announced at the Ceremony by Virginijus Sinkevičius, European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries and members of the high-level Jury including the Director-General of DG Environment of the European Commission, and high-level representatives of the European Parliament, the Committee of the Regions and stakeholders. The Ceremony will be followed by a reception to meet the winners.

Remember to check out all the finalists and vote for your favourite! The vote is open until 27 April. The 2022 finalist who receives the highest number of votes from the public will win the European Citizens' Award.
