ETV visits IFAT International Trade Fair

From 30 May to 31 May, a European Commission representative of the ETV pilot scheme and CEMC, the Czech Verification Body, participated in IFAT, the largest European trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, organised in Munich, Germany.

date:  25/07/2016

Over four days, 3,097 exhibitors from 59 countries showcased their latest technologies and/or services to 140,000 visitors. The trade fair presented the latest developments in environmental technologies in the water, sewage and raw materials management sectors and provided participants an opportunity to meet industry peers. During the event, the ETV scheme was introduced to around 60 business delegates, including a number of Czech companies, several of which were interested in having their technologies’ performance verified.

The ETV programme was given further visibility at IFAT by the attendance of Moesbaek A/S, the second company to receive ETV verification. Moesbaek A/S had a good response at the conference and having ETV verification gave added credibility to the company. ‘After one year with the ETV verification, we now experience a positive impact on the market. It is actually making a difference’ said Moesbaek’s representative at IFAT, Mr Torben Krejberg.
