Prepare for the General Assembly 2026

The General Assembly is the first layer of the Coalition; it is designed to provide the political steering of the Coalition, for example by bringing forward new ideas and topics and by adopting the Coalition’s Work Programme. The General Assembly gathers all members of the Coalition and features high-level representatives from Member States, Financial Institutions and Industry.

Public event following the General Assembly

On 6 May, the Commission is organising a public event to showcase successful initiatives for accelerating investments in energy efficiency, particularly looking into how to stimulate demand, how to develop investment pipelines, and how to set up private financing schemes. The event will allow discussions with the project leads and other relevant actors, following the experience of the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum.
