Welcome to this month’s Rural Energy Community Advisory Hub Newsletter.
Since our last newsletter, we welcomed 333 highly engaged in-person and online energy community practitioners to our Joint Final Conference with the Energy Community Repository. More on this later in the newsletter, but for now, we wanted to thank the diverse group of stakeholders invested in securing a future for energy communities; you will be integral to the success of achieving the goals set out in the European Green Deal.
The RECAH team has also continued to produce valuable guidance and best practice reports for energy communities and other stakeholders through dedicated research and interviews with exemplary communities and organisations taking strides to implement sustainable energy projects.
A testament to their hard work is the testimony videos provided by energy communities who have received RECAH technical assistance; you can find a link to these and an opportunity to provide feedback later in the newsletter.
Also featured in this newsletter is a report summarising and analysing the findings of the cross-border energy community workshops delivered in collaboration with DG Regio, answers to your questions relating to energy communities and a new online guide to EU funding opportunities and support for rural areas.
Collaboration appears to be a clear theme this month, and in this spirit, we kindly ask you to forward this newsletter to any stakeholders who might be interested in:
