Commissioner Várhelyi visited Bosnia and Herzegovina

On 24-25 November 2021, Olivér Várhelyi, European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, travelled to Bosnia and Herzegovina to pursue political dialogue with the country’s leaders as part of the EU’s efforts to de-escalate the situation and help relaunch the European agenda, so that Bosnia and Herzegovina moves forward on its EU path.

Remarks by Commissioner Várhelyi at the end of his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina

The EU has been consistently calling on political leaders to refrain from destabilising unilateral actions and divisive rhetoric and to refocus on the implementations of 14 key priorities required for Bosnia and Herzegovina to progress on its European path, including full functioning of State institutions and advancing with constitutional and electoral reforms.
