This month, Italy officially launched its SRI test phase, becoming the latest EU country to trial the scheme.

The Smart Square project just launched its Smart Readiness Virtual Training Center, an innovative platform designed to provide modular, interactive and practice-based training on the latest EU-level provisions for the SRI.

The CEN-CENELEC Workshop Agreement (CWA) 18193:2025 has been published, providing a standardised framework for on-site SRI audits.
Decarbonisation & Digitalisation: SRI event in Milan (14/03/2025)

Portugal officially launched its SRI test phase this month, bringing the total number of EU countries with national trials underway to 15, thus joining Austria, Belgium (Flanders), Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Poland, Slovenia, and Spain.

1st international SRI conference (iSRIc) (05/08/2024)
The 1st international scientific conference on SRI is scheduled on 14-15 October 2024 in Karlsruhe, organized by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
The European Council has approved on 12 April 2024 the recast of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
