ENERGY - What to expect from the new SRI service contract

The SRI is currently being tested in eight Member States, while an SRI platform has been established to share understanding of the SRI with regard to its implementation and value proposition. At the same time, several initiatives related to the SRI are underway, including those under the LIFE Clean Energy Transition programme.

The newly appointed SRI support team will:

Provide technical support and guidance for ongoing SRI test phases and implementation efforts, while encouraging new Member States to get started.
Continue to support the operation of the SRI platform, and provide coordination with relevant initiatives and schemes.
Support the policy making process including the promotion of implementation and adoption of SRI-related activities.
