Juvenes Translatores (or Young Translators) is an annual contest organised by the European Commission across the European Union. The translation contest provides secondary school students with a glimpse into the life of a translator, motivating them to study languages, and potentially sparking careers in the profession. Every year about 3,000 students from nearly 700 secondary schools participate.

This year’s competition will take place on November 23 in schools across Europe under the supervision of teachers.
