Our little hero will take them into an imaginary world to discover what the European Union is and how it came about.

Through playful activities, children can also explore concepts such as peace, compromise and conflict resolution, and find out more about the role of the Council and the member states.

This teaching kit has been designed for children aged 7 to 9.

It consists of:

• a story book;
• an activity book;
• an illustrated map of the EU; and
• a teacher’s guide.
