London Representation eyes target groups: What does the EU mean for you?

The Commission Representation in the United Kingdom has published a series of 10 concise factsheets outlining what the European Union means for specific target groups. What does the EU mean for small businesses? Creative people? Families? Shoppers and consumers? Holidaymakers? The countryside?

"The factsheets are quite successful, especially the ones focused on students, under 25s and over 50s", says Silvia Cobo Benito, the Rep's publication officer who produced the series. "The factsheets were designed by the in-house designers of the Publications Office and the text was written by a free-lance contractor", she adds. Other Representations, however, might not just translate the texts into their own language, but will need to rework the content. "The content is very focused on the UK and the statistics mentioned are only related to the UK", cautions Cobo Benito.
