Mental Health Week

Within the framework of the ‘Be Well programme’, DG HR will mark the World Mental Health Day (10 October) by organising a full week of seminars and workshops (10-14 October). The sessions include the impact of sleep, animals and nature on mental health, the role of relationships and compassion at work, and the benefits of physical activity on mental health.

The Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum is back in town! – 18 October 2022 in Brussels

The Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum – Energy Efficiency Finance Market Place is an annual conference that gathers cities, industries and financial institutions to learn and exchange about pioneering initiatives and successful projects that encourage change at local level, such as sustainable plans and strategies for the energy transition, energy efficiency financing in the public and private sector and investments in home renovation.

European Sustainable Energy Week

Under the theme “Going green and digital for Europe’s energy transition", the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is taking place from 26 to 29 September with six plenaries, 37 policy sessions and online/onsite Fair.

After two years as a fully virtual event, the conference is back in a new hybrid format, with speakers and participants attending in Brussels and online. Registrations are still open for onsite and online attendance, with limited spaces for in-person participation.

Public voting is also open until 18 September for the European Sustainable Energy Awards. Help celebrate individuals and projects working to boost Europe’s clean energy transition by casting your vote across four award categories.

Discussions on the future of sustainable energy and renewables already starts with the Extended Programme from 19 to 23 September.
