Leon, 29 September 2022.- The National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, through the Secretary of State for Digitisation and Artificial Intelligence, has been designated by the National Cybersecurity Council as Spain's National Coordination Centre, forming one of the 27 national coordination centres of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre.

On 29 September, Ukraine and the European Union held the second round of the Cybersecurity Dialogue. In the context of the Russian Federation’s unjustified and unprovoked war of aggression against Ukraine, participants emphasized the importance to further strengthening their cyber resilience efforts and cooperation. The EU expressed its solidarity with and support to Ukraine, which is facing cyber-attacks that seek to undermine its key infrastructure. The Russian Federation must stop this senseless and illegal war and bring an end to the human suffering immediately.

The European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF) is the result of the joint effort of ENISA and the ENISA Ad-hoc working group on Cybersecurity Skills Framework. The aim of the ECSF is to create a common understanding of the relevant roles, competencies, skills and knowledge; to facilitate cybersecurity skills recognition; and to support the design of cybersecurity-related training programs. It summarises all cybersecurity-related roles into 12 profiles, which are individually analysed into the details of the responsibilities, skills, synergies and interdependencies it corresponds to.
This is a call for proposals under the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL). Cybersecurity is at the heart of the digital transformation of the European Union. Today, the Commission has presented a proposal for a new Cyber Resilience Act to protect consumers and businesses from products with inadequate security features. Appointed as the National Coordination Centre for Belgium, the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB) organised its first event dedicated to the Belgian Cybersecurity Community, on 30 August 2022. The event was open to all Belgian public institutions and to organisations which are legally registered in Belgium. Added to these, NCC-BE extended the invitation to the NCC Network in order to further facilitate cooperation and share best practices.
