On 8 April the Europass project team met with representatives from the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres). The aim of the meeting was to gain insights into the perspective of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and how the new Europass platform can cater to specific needs of SMEs.

The meeting is part of a broader stakeholder outreach to gather input on the new Europass and to discuss how various stakeholder organisations can be closely involved in the development of the new platform.

Eurochambers stressed the need for information campaigns explaining:

  • the added value of Europass to SMEs,
  • how to best integrate the tool in their recruitment processes, and
  • possible costs incurred by SMEs if they integrate the tool.

The organisation expressed interest to participate in the user testing of the prototypes of the new Europass platform.
