Things we feel particularly proud of achieving in 2023:

  • We helped to save 121,686,720 meals from going to waste
  • We inspired 21 million registered users and 72,000 new active stores to join the fight against food waste.
  • Too Good To Go Parcels and Too Good To Go Platform rolled out across Europe
  • We submitted our B Corp Recertification, launched our employee shares programme, and set ourselves ambitious Diversity, Equity and Inclusion targets
It's also vital to haverobust and measurable markers to assess the environmental impact of our community.

In order to push the boundaries, we commissioned new calculations from Mérieux Nutrisciences | Blonk (a leading international expert in food system sustainability), which have been independently reviewed by Oxford University and WRAP.

By helping to save more than 300 million meals from going to waste since 2016, our environmental impact is equivalent to avoiding:
  • 810.000 tonnes of CO2e - which is the same as charging every mobile phone in the world 7 times
  • 243 billion litres of water - that's double the daily water use of the entire U.S population
  • 840 billion m2 of land use per annum - that's 4 times the size of the Alps
