Too Good To Go: Cities against food waste in Germany

In February, Too Good To Go launched its "Cities Against Food Waste" initiative with ten major German cities (Bochum, Bonn, Essen, Dresden, Frankfurt, Kassel, Kiel, Köln, Mainz, Saarbrücken), bringing together committed cities in a network to significantly advance food rescue at local level. The initiative already exists in France, since 2020, under the name: Le Réseau des Villes Anti-Gaspi

Cities play a crucial role in reducing #foodwaste: they are close to citizens, civil society and local businesses alike. As part of the initiative, the 10 cities will develop & promote measures focussed on promoting redistribution and targeting educational work.
