The meeting gathers national festivals associations and European cultural networks. In an public seminar and in working sessions grounds for synergies between EFA (European level organisation) and festivals associations at national level are explored.

The 2010 CAMM was the occasion of the launch of the "Open The Door" project. A letter of endorsement has been handed over to the Swedish Ministry of Culture. In it, national festivals associations and cultural networks confirmed their commitment to a cultural Europe in general and to increasing access to culture for all in particular. The internal meeting of national festivals associations and networks focused on a festival’s role in increasing access to culture for all members of society, this at the occasion of 2010 European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion. In this framework, audience participation and the role of national associations and networks were discussed from different angles.
