Commission publishes June 2023 Once-Only Projectathon ‘aftermovie’

On 30 August 2023, the European Commission published the official ‘aftermovie’ of the second Once-Only Technical System (OOTS) Projectathon (16-18 June 2023).
A Projectathon is a marathon of peer-to-peer interoperability and compliance tests in a structured environment. This Projectathon was a crucial step in the development, testing and deployment into production of the Once-Only Technical System components that underpin a national Once-Only implementation.
Once-Only will help to ease the administrative burden on EU citizens and companies, with resource savings even greater for smaller companies with more limited resources.
In the words of one participant, “I think this is really exciting. This is something that has never been done before, at least not on this scale, this is a very good opportunity for us as an office and as government administrators and we are very excited about this”.

EU Member States will convene from 18-20 October 2023 for the third OOTS Projectathon.
