Launch of the EU Trust Services Dashboard
The European Commission has published the EU Trust Services Dashboard, which centralises both new and pre-existing services related to the eSignature building block.
Features of the EU Trust Services Dashboard:
the compiled lists of eIDAS accredited Conformity Assessment Bodies, Qualified electronic Signature/Seal Creation Devices, and more;
changes in the compiled lists of eIDAS for their publication by European Commission.
We also migrated pre-existing services:
- Trusted List Browser (old location here), to browse the eIDAS trusted lists and search for trust services providers. The Trusted List Browser API has also moved to a new location;
- eSignature validation test cases(old location here), to help those looking to implement and validate an implementation of electronic signature validation platform.
Getting access and notifying new information
Member State representatives who are mandated to notify the eIDAS national lists can now use this tool to notify new information.
The different types of eIDAS national lists include:
- eIDAS accredited Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) and the National Accreditation Bodies (NABs) which accredited them;
- Qualified electronic Signature/Seal Creation Devices (QSCDs) and Secure Signature Creation Devices (SSCDs) benefiting from the transitional measure set in Article 51(1) of the eIDAS Regulation;
- Bodies designated for the certification of conformity of QSCDs and Bodies designated having determined the conformity of SSCDs;
- Alternative processes notified to the Commission in accordance with Article 30.3(b) and 39.2 of the eIDAS Regulation.
You can request access by creating a ticket in the eSignature Service Desk and by indicating which type of information you are mandated to notify.
Transition period
The Trusted List Browser and eSignature validation test cases will remain available at the old locations for 6 months.
We encourage users to begin accessing the services through the new portal rather than the old URLs, in particular for:
- the eIDAS trust mark links. Links beginning with: “https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/tl-browser/#/trustmark/” must be replaced by “https://esignature.ec.europa.eu/efda/tl-browser/#/screen/tl/trustmark/” (for example: https://esignature.ec.europa.eu/efda/tl-browser/#/screen/tl/trustmark/[CC]/[VATCC-NUMBER]);
- the Trusted List Browser API.
