eDelivery at SEMIC
On 18 October, eDelivery had the privilege of participating in SEMIC 2023, an annual conference on semantic interoperability organized by the European Commission.
Our stand wasn't just a gathering point for government delegates; it also attracted private sector actors and non-governmental organizations with a specific focus on exchanging data and interoperability. Their contributions added depth to our discussions, highlighting the broad applicability of eDelivery towards interoperability. Additionally, we had the privilege of connecting with members of other European agencies, reinforcing our commitment to collaborative knowledge sharing in this field.
Our day at SEMIC was a whirlwind, leaving us with little time for a coffee break. The enthusiasm and interest displayed by attendees touched us. Many visitors patiently waited to engage with our team, demonstrating their commitment to understanding our work. To those who might have only picked up one of our flyers, we encourage you to reach out; we're more than willing to continue the conversation even after the event.
We had the pleasure of engaging with a diverse array of attendees, from government officials to private enterprises and non-governmental organisations who visited our stand. Their keen interest and insightful conversations left us eager to follow up on the connections we made.
Among the visitors were representatives from various European Member States and government officials. Some were well-acquainted with eDelivery, while others were taking their first steps into the concept. Numerous inquiries regarding our services reflected the widespread interest in the eDelivery Building Block.
This year, we shared a stand with other Digital Building Blocks: the Once-Only Technical System (OOTS), eID, and eSignature. Our stand, while situated between pillars in a more discreet corner of the venue, allowed us to interact with those who sought us out, and for that, we are truly grateful.
Stay tuned for the latest updates on the eDelivery services by checking the building block's twitter and web page. For more information, do not hesitate to register for personalised news or contact us via our portal or by e-mail: EC-EDELIVERY-SUPPORT@ec.europa.eu.
