eIDAS-Node version 1.2

Description
The eID team is pleased to announce the release of the version 1.2 of the sample implementation.
The release 1.2 of the eIDAS sample implementation for Member States is an all-in-one package for the Java platform including binary distributions for Glassfish, JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere and the source code (Maven project).
This new version comes with several improvements in code quality and security (after carrying out penetration tests). The build process was enhanced, by re-organising Maven POM files in a more standardised way. In addition, the release introduces several enhancements related to the management of metadata and to the configuration of the Node, Demo SP/IdP and specific module. This release also provides fixes for several bugs.

Member States may adopt this version directly, or use it as a sample when testing other implementations of the technical specifications. With each release, the DIGITAL eID Team is striving to improve users' DIGITAL eID experience. The next version of the specifications will thus be further improved based on the feedback received on this current version.
