eSignature services
DIGITAL offers a free service package that gets you started with the Digital Signature Services (DSS) software library maintained by the DIGITAL eSignature building block. It includes services, documentation and tools.

Generic terms and conditions, that apply to all services offered by the DIGITAL Building Blocks, are defined in the Master Service Arrangement (MSA). Specific Service Level Agreements (SLA) can apply to individual services.

Service Desk
About the service
The Service Desk provides user support on the overall DIGITAL eSignature service offering. It acts as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to address questions, incidents, requests and changes reported by the Users.
- Standard Service:
8:00-18:00 CET on normal Commission working days
- Standby Service*:
18:00-8:00 CET on normal Commission working days
Using Service Desk requires EU Login.

Stakeholder Onboarding
About the service
The DIGITAL eSignature Stakeholders onboarding service aims to facilitate the onboarding process for stakeholders interested in implementing and using electronic signatures and electronic seals. The DIGITAL eSignature onboarding team supports users throughout the various steps of the Stakeholders onboarding service by delivering the following supporting subservices: organising and producing workshops, webinars, communication campaigns, articles and news items.
Scope
The scope of the DIGITAL eSignature Stakeholders onboarding service includes support throughout the user journey, from first discovering the services of the DIGITAL eSignature Building Block to information about the possible services delivered by the DIGITAL eSignature team.
Who can use the service?
The DIGITAL eSignature Stakeholders onboarding service is intended for the following types of users:
Governments - Public sector entities and agencies who want to introduce electronic signatures in their public administration or government agency.
Businesses - Private sector entities who want to start signing documents electronically within and outside the European Union.
Service providers and solution providers – who want to develop and offer electronic signing services and solutions complying with the eIDAS Regulation.
Citizens of EU countries, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein who want to easily sign documents and avoid the administrative burden of processing physical documents, such as printing them, signing them and then sending them through the post office.
Benefits of using the service
The DIGITAL eSignature Stakeholders onboarding service has been designed to provide users with the following benefits:
- Getting informed: Accessing up-to-date information about electronic signatures and seals adjusted for different stakeholders and users.
- Receiving onboarding support: Receiving support through a structured onboarding journey and guidance (e.g. bilateral calls, demos,…) with the aim of implementing electronic signature and electronic seal solutions.
- Using the services of DIGITAL: Using the services for managed software, managed services, testing, support, standards of ESOs and stakeholder management.
- Engaging with the community: Connecting with other stakeholders who are interested in electronic signatures and have similar use cases.
