Ouverture de l'exposition des dessins plébiscités du concours international sur l'égalité des sexes
Aujourd'hui s'ouvre à Bruxelles une exposition des dessins plébiscités du concours de dessins sur l'égalité des sexes. Ce concours appelle les enfants du monde entier à exprimer leur vision sur l'égalité des sexes. Le but est d'augmenter la conscience de l'égalité des sexes. Approximativement 50.000 enfants de 61 pays ont participé au concours de cette année. 14 finalistes ont été sélectionnés.
Five of the winning children are invited to participate at the opening ceremony –winners from Algeria, Bolivia, Cambodia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Kenya. The exhibition will display the 14 drawings of the winners as well as 50 drawings from all of the participating countries that were part of the finalists.
This competition is open to all children between 8-10 years old, living and attending school in one of the seven following regions: Africa, Asia, Caribbean and Pacific, Latin America, Mediterranean and Middle East and other European Countries including the Eastern Neighbours of the EU.
The exhibition will take place at the Musée des Enfants in Brussels and will run from 8 to 26 November, the day after the International Day for the Elimination of the Violence against Women 2010.
