Juan Antonio Rodríguez -JARR

From 23/02 to 25/03

Through this exhibition, JARR presents his peculiar and narrative art project, where the artist raises his voice to claim the reconciliation between humanity and the world. The commitment to reality features his art pieces and provide a deep insight into a very personal vision of art. Juan Antonio Rodríguez is a young Valencian artist. His work represents a constant artistic research on the concept and function of contemporary art. He defines himself as an artist-visionary who expresses the anxiety and fears induced by the unbalance of society in our subconscious. His creations, initially featured by sweetness and lyricism, have evolved into a brutal and uncomfortable art as the result of this process. This subversive and lawbreaking character becomes apparent in the exhibits through an exploration of the languages of contemporary art. On this occasion, 14 paintings are devoted to pay tribute to the cinema through the use of Pop Art techniques.
