From 16/11 to 17/11
European Commission Representation in Estonia organised an Enterprise Weekend for prospective youngsters leaving foster homes or foundling hospitals and entering an independent life, as an event to mark European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion 2010.
In order to facilitate the youngsters' entry to the work market, to promote their enterpreneurship and to rise their self-esteem in career matters, the Enterprise Weekend consisted of two thematic days: career counselling and self-awareness for the first day and simulation of creating an environment-friendly business project and developping the business idea on the second day. In addition to the European Year 2010, this project covered communication priorities such as economic recovery, promoting enterpreneurship and climate change.
