Dedicated social partner hearing on reinforcing the youth guarantee The Commission invited social partners from both cross-industry level and sectors to a dedicated hearing on 20 February on the Youth Guarantee. © Shutterstock In the dedicated hearing on 20 February on reinforcing the youth guarantee, social partners were asked to give their views on possible areas in which the Youth Guarantee could be strengthened. The discussion covered topics such as how to better support employability of young people in rural areas how to provide young people with digital and green skills how social partners will contribute to the effective implementation of a reinforced Youth Guarantee All recognised European social partners are also invited to send written contributions. The Council recommendation on establishing the Youth Guarantee was adopted in 2013. Every year, more than 3.5 million people receive a Youth Guarantee offer.
