Updated MISSOC information on national social protection systems now available
Updated information (up to July 2017) on social protection systems in all EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland – including brief descriptions of their organisation and information on the social protection for the self-employed – is now available in English, French and German on the MISSOC website.

Boost of €100 million for microfinance and social enterprises in Europe

New studies examine importance of investing in early learning
Two new reports have been released on the subject of education in Europe. The OECD’s 2017 edition of 'Education at a Glance: OECD Indicators' and the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education (EASNIE) study 'Inclusive education for learners with disabilities' provide a wealth of data and analysis on the key aspects related to education in EU countries and beyond.

Integration of refugees: Commission joins forces with social and economic partners
The European Commission and the EU Social and Economic partners ETUC, BusinessEurope, UAPME, CEEP and Eurochambers signed a European Partnership for Integration, laying down key principles and commitments to support and strengthen opportunities for refugees and migrants legally residing in the EU to integrate into the European labour market.
