ESF: Italian project wins 2022 Vocational Education and Training award
The project “Training of food production operators”, managed by the Piemonte Region (Italy), won the 2022 excellence awards for Vocational Education and Training (VET). The awards showcase talent, hard work and dedication of individuals and organisations to take VET to the next level, which focus this year’s was on ‘Upskilling/reskilling workforces for a fair green transition - green skills and jobs’.

Commission adopts €2 billion Partnership Agreement with Finland for 2021-2027
The Commission has adopted its Partnership Agreement with Finland, laying down Finland's €2 billion cohesion policy investment strategy for the period 2021-2027. REACT-EU: €84.3 million to support economic and social recovery in Finland, Germany and Latvia
The European Commission granted to Finland, Germany and Latvia an additional €84.3 million in total under REACT-EU to support the post-pandemic recovery and the greening and digitalisation of their economy, as well as to support people in need, including people fleeing the war in Ukraine.

Coronavirus: €17.7 million from European Globalisation Adjustment Fund to support dismissed Air France workers
Today, the European Commission proposes to support 1,580 former workers of Air France, who have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with €17.7 million from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for Displaced Workers (EGF).
