EAfA publishes the results of its recent Apprenticeships Coalition Survey
Between 1 February 2021 and 3 March 2021, EAfA conducted a survey to map apprenticeship coalitions/alliances, understand their main characteristics (e.g. composition, coordination structure, etc.) and identify key challenges to their development.
The preliminary survey results were presented during the joint EAfA-ILO High Level Conference on quality and effective apprenticeships (EU) and international labour standards in apprenticeships (ILO) on 15–16 March 2021.
The survey received 20 completed answers from 17 countries, allowing to identify a total of 30 coalitions in 13 countries: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Spain, Sweden and Norway.
The report published today explores the key characteristics of the coalitions identified, as their composition, coordination structure and objectives. The report also lists the challenges these coalitions face and the support measures that they would require.
