European Child Guarantee Meeting in Dublin
The 10th meeting of the Child Guarantee Coordinators took place in Dublin to discuss governance and monitoring of the European Child Guarantee.
The meeting was hosted by the Irish Child Guarantee Coordinator representing the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.
Some of the meeting’s most important presentations included Eurofund’s analysis of trends and differences in child poverty and other important policy areas across EU Member States.
The OECD provided an overview of the Technical Support Instrument project carried out in Ireland, which aims at supporting the implementation of the Child Guarantee and the revised policy framework for children and young people through improving monitoring and evaluation and endorsing a whole-of-government, cross-sectoral and integrated policy approach.
Finally, participants from all EU countries shared their experiences with Child Guarantee implementation and monitoring.
