Public consultation on EaSI and EPMF programmes now open (deadline: 28 December 2021)

The consultation, open until 28 December 2021, aims at supporting the ex post evaluation of the Employment and Social Innovation Programme (EaSI) and the final evaluation of the European Progress Microfinance Facility (EPMF).

The European Commission just launched a public consultation to assess the activities undertaken under the Employment and Social Innovation Programme (EaSI) and the European Progress Microfinance Facility (EPMF).

The consultation seeks feedbacks from EU citizens, governmental and non-governmental organisations, public and private employment services, higher education institutions and research institutes, social and private enterprises, bank and non-bank financial institutions, social partners, international organisations, EU institutions, and any other interested stakeholders.

It will contribute to the assessment of the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, coherence and the EU added value of the two programmes. 

The public consultation is open until 28 December 2021.

Responding to the questionnaire

The questionnaire is available in all official EU languages. You can submit your responses in any EU official language.

You can respond to the consultation in a personal or organisational/institutional capacity.

Background

EaSI was launched in 2014 and ended in 2020. Its total budget amounted to 919 million EUR. The programme’s three axes aimed at:

EPMF was launched in 2010 and operated until 2016. Its overall budget amounted to 203 million EUR. 

EPMF offered to financial intermediaries from (banks and non-bank institutions) the possibility to apply for funded instruments (loan and equity instruments) or guarantees in order to strengthen their microfinance portfolio.
