3rd Meeting of the PES Network Working Group on Supporting PES Visibility and Branding

The third and final meeting of this Working Group under the 2021-2022 work programme focused on how to evaluate and measure the success of PES communication campaigns.

Event participants heard from expert Sophia Volk from the University of Zurich about the importance and benefits of evaluation and measurement, before hearing and discussing practical examples of different campaigns and their evaluation from various PES, including:

  • Promotion of a new job-search engine, by the Austrian PES (AMS)
  • A campaign towards young people, by the regional PES for Wallonia, Belgium (Le Forem)
  • Self-entrepreneurship possibilities for NEETs by the Italian PES (ANPAL)
  • ‘What works for you’, by the Dutch PES (UWV)

Sophia Volk provided feedback from an analysis of different PES campaign evaluation questionnaires, before the group reflected on the overall lessons and takeaways from their three meetings. The group’s work will be summarised in a soon-to-be published outcome paper.
