The PES Network Working Group on Quality Management 2021-2022 met online for the third and final time on 31 March 2022.

Once again supported by thematic expert Johann Sauermann, the meeting benefitted from an introductory presentation on different quality management models and their relative advantages and disadvantages.

Discussions and exchanges between participating PES then focused on two distinct areas of practice:

1. Self-assessment in practice, with a focus on self-assessment of regional offices, with models presented by the PES from Estonia (Tootukassa), Austria (AMS) and Germany (BA)
2. Project management and portfolio management, with PES approaches presented from Belgium (VDAB) and Iceland (VS)

These exchanges followed on from those that took place during the 2^nd WG meeting that took place in February 2022. The meeting concluded with a review of the work done and reflections on potential future exchange and learning activities. The findings of the WG will be set out in a future PES Network Thematic Paper on Quality Management.

The online meeting was co-chaired by the Austrian PES and German Federal Employment Agency and included participation by PES from Belgium (VDAB), Croatia, Estonia, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain and Iceland.
