EaSI Technical Assistance - Webinar on Green Inclusive Finance: what is it and why is it relevant?
The European Union offered the webinar to representatives from microfinance institutions (MFI) interested to learn on concept of green inclusive finance and its diverse axis.
This first session was part of the webinar series “Green Inclusive Finance” aiming to equip microfinance institutions with knowledge on how to be engaged in topics of green strategy, climate vulnerability or green products, when serving its clients or launching a new product.
During this webinar session, all the attendants had a chance to absorb knowledge from different sort of content as the case studies materials, practical examples from the field and common presentation materials were delivered to all the participants of the first session in the series of four.
This webinar was dedicated to the below content of topics:
- Introduction to the concept of green inclusive finance
- Introduction to the various dimensions of green inclusive finance
- Why green is relevant and what are the opportunities?
- Practical examples and case studies

- Davide Forcella is Co-Head of the Green Inclusive & Climate Smart Finance Action Group at the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP) and Head of Green Inclusive Finance and of Business Development at YAPU Solutions. Professional with over 10 years of experience in green inclusive finance with ample coverage of more than 10 countries.
