MoveS seminar (Poland): The consequences of the changes in the EU Regulations No. 883/2004 and 987/2009

The EC-funded MoveS network (Free Movement and Social Security Coordination) organised a seminar in Warsaw (Poland) on 18 June 2019.

The seminar was organised by MoveS in collaboration with its Polish national expert, Gertruda Uscinska’. MoveS is an EC-funded network of independent experts from 32 European countries coordinated by Eftheia and Deloitte.

The seminar aimed to analyse  the consequences of the changes in the EU Regulation No. 883/2004 with particular reference to: 1) long-term care and its legal implications in Poland; 2) posting and the regulations concerning the replacement of posted workers; 3) changes in Article 13 and the evaluation of the legal provisions for persons performing work in two Member States of the EU. Changes in Regulation 987/2009 and, in particular, the cooperation between competent institutions in the Member States were also examined.
