EaSI Technical Assistance Microfinance study visit to FAER in Romania

The European Commission is sponsoring a two-day study visit under the EaSI Technical Assistance programme, which will take place at the premises of the Rural Financing Society FAER IFN S.A. (FAER) in Reghin, Romania on 6-7 March 2019.

FAER is a non-bank financial institution active since 2005, aiming to provide enhanced access to finance to micro-entrepreneurs and agricultural producers in rural areas of central Romania.

The institution also supports the development and modernisation of agricultural farms and micro-enterprises located mostly in rural areas by helping them to improve business efficiency.

The event organisers will welcome staff from the PRIMOM Foundation (Hungary), interested in learning from best practices and experience sharing with focus on:

  • strategic planning,
  • risk management,
  • transparency and communication with clients and
  • the EU Code of Good Conduct for Microcredit Provision compliance process.

Both FAER and PRIMOM Foundation are already selected beneficiaries of the EaSI Technical Assistance programme.

Other European microfinance providers who are already selected as EaSI Technical Assistance beneficiaries can contact easi.ta@fs.de to receive more information about the event programme, as well as to request the participation in or organisation of similar events.
