The Easy-to-read version of this text is available here.

Meet Teodora Dumitru, a young woman from Romania who has been living her entire life with cerebral palsy. She wants her life experience so far to be testimony to the fact that, despite such a diagnosis, you can live life to the fullest. Learning to embrace her disability and to love herself made her into who she is today. She is also known as ‘Teo on wheels’ from her blog, where she has written her story. It is a place for optimism and positivity where she is showing everyone how you can have a normal life, be surrounded by family and friends, and enjoy life just like any other typically healthy teenager. Teo is currently studying medicine at the Complutense University of Madrid, after graduating from a top high school back home in Bucharest. She is fluent in English, Romanian and Spanish, and loves to spend her leisure time writing. Teo believes she has a mission/duty/responsibility to help people and change mentalities, and just try and make the world a better place, a quality she thinks is not solely reserved for her, but is a hidden power within each and every one of us.
