Jakob Rosin is President of the Estonian Blind Union, a radio journalist in Estonian Public Broadcasting and an accessibility consultant. Totally blind since birth, he developed a great interest in technology, and through his work over the last decade has advised several Estonian public and private sector bodies on creating more accessible and inclusive experiences for all, in both the digital and physical space. Jakob has also taken part in several European-level discussions on implementing EU-wide accessibility directives. He continues to work as an accessibility consultant through the family business that he operates together with his fiancée. As a journalist, he runs a weekly consumer technology show on Estonia’s most popular radio station, Vikerraadio. When not at work, Jakob enjoys capturing field recordings and creating ambient electronic music, inspired by natural soundscapes. He values good company and friendships, jokes sometimes a bit too much, and is known for saying yes to all kinds of strange experiences.
