Join the EaSI Technical Assistance webinar on financial inclusion of traveller communities
The European Union is offering a webinar for microfinance institutions (MFI) interested in different approaches they can adopt to better meet the financial needs of Roma and traveller populations. The webinar will take place on 9 April.
This session will capture lessons learnt from the initiatives of two different organisations who have worked with traveller populations:
- Adie’s efforts to adapt its credit and social methodologies to the needs of the traveller community in France and
- REDI’s experience on economic development of Roma entrepreneurs in Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
A special focus will be placed on the measures they are setting up to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic, which will have particularly challenging impact on more vulnerable groups, such as traveller communities.
The content has been tailored to the needs of microfinance institutions and will offer practical solutions, which can be easily implemented in everyday practises.
