EaSI Technical Assistance webinar on recruitment and monitoring of IT contractors

This webinar will offer practical lessons to microfinance institutions (MFI) embarking on their digital journey. It will take place on 30 October and will present learnings on the selection of IT contractors, and how to follow up with developers.

This session is a part of a webinar series on digitalisation strategies for microfinance institutions, which will be followed by two more webinars.

In this webinar, participants will

  • learn tips and tricks on how to select the right IT service provider,
  • get guidance on how to ensure the developers are delivering the right products and services for the MFI, as well as which hard and soft criteria should be taken into account during the selection process,
  • learn how best to communicate with developers.

Jente Minne will deliver an interactive online session with plenty of opportunities for engagement through polls and live questions. He is project coordinator for digital strategy at microStart, Belgium. Passionate about IT-systems and digitalisation, he became responsible for the digital transformation of microStart in 2016. His speciality is the selection of low-cost but efficient IT-tools and the implementation of an agile mindset in the organisation.

How to participate

The webinar is offered by the European Union and attendance is free of charge. The session is primarily tailored to smaller microfinance institutions, which do not have a fully-fledged IT department or for those at the start of their digital transformation.
