Staff and Budget

The priorities for HR management in OLAF included in 2022: the successful conclusion of the two OLAF specialised competitions (EPSO/AD/394/21 and EPSO/AD/395/21) for grades AD7 and AD 9 respectively; the continuous recruitment of the talents included in the list of laureates; the adaptation of OLAF to the European Public Prosecutor’s Office start of operations in 2021; and the increase of staff engagement and development.

The positive evolution of health and safety measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, followed by the return to the Office in a hybrid working style, allowed OLAF to restart physical and hybrid meetings, team events and training programmes. Given its particular nature, OLAF managed to retain the physical space needed to bring back its whole staff to the office when required.
