Farm to Fork on Agriculture and Fisheries Council agenda

On 20 July, Commissioner Kyriakides addressed the Agriculture and Fisheries Council to highlight the central objectives of the Farm to Fork Strategy, namely the production of sustainable food. The Commissioner also stressed that the strategy "sets the path towards sustainable food demand and consumption" and represents an economic opportunity for all actors in the food supply chain. The strategy also aims to make European sustainability standards the global standards.
