With over 9,000,000 confirmed cases and more than 500,000 deaths, global organisations are working toward integrating crucial data of the ongoing pandemic to combat COVID-19 together. United Nations and The World Health Organisation have created interactive dashboards capturing the impact of the novel coronavirus from various perspectives. EUROSTAT has recently created an online portal containing a wide range of statistics and data related to COVID-19.

Framework Programme funded projects help to fight the COVID-19 health emergency. The objective of this activity is to identify relevant Framework Programme funded projects and results that can help to fight the COVID-19 health emergency in the short term, as well as build our resilience and preparedness in the medium term to minimise the negative health and socio-economic consequences in the aftermath. It is a collaboration between different directorates in DG RTD as well as Executive Agencies and DG R&I family.
