Smart Regions: The HELIO project is using the power of the sun for clean and potable water

The remarkable asset of these spheres is that they purify water in an autonomous way and that they are also made of materials which can be recycled.  And all of this by emitting zero CO2 emissions! The spheres will help tackle the problem of access to drinking water in many parts of the world and the problem of insufficient sanitary conditions, which is currently still affecting half of the world’s population.
