REGIONAL AND URBAN POLICY - Supporting the development of 14 Bulgarian research and innovation centres

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy and the Joint Research Centre (JRC) are delighted to invite you to the presentation of the results of the joint action for strategic support to the 14 Centres of Excellence and Centres of Competence, co-financed by the EU cohesion policy in 2014-2020.

The online event will take place on 14 January 2021 at 10h00 and will see the special participation Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms Elisa Ferreira, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Mariya Gabriel, and Mr Tomislav Donchev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The event will also provide an opportunity to present good practices, examples of international experience and lessons learned in the process of developing research and innovation ecosystems, as well as the newly established Bulgarian State Agency for Research and Innovation.
